The Gospel-Centered Life
General Info: This class is open to all adults. The youth will be doing a different version of the same study, geared toward students. Books will cost $5 and will be available at the class.
In this class, we will dive into the basics of interpreting and understanding God’s Word—not as hobbyists trying to master a book but as worshipers seeking to hear from our Master, our God who is gracious to speak to us. After we discern principles for hearing God’s Word rightly, we look at some of the spiritual disciplines that put us in the appropriate posture of submission and faith. These disciplines aren’t ways to earn favor with God or put us in right standing with Him, but they are means of growing in grace, responding properly to the God who has given us everything in Christ.
Class begins Sunday, June 7 in Heritage Hall and will be facilitated by a rotation of leaders.
