Prayer is one of the primary identifying marks of God’s family. It not only identifies who we are as God’s children, but who we are dependant upon. Jesus instructs us in Matthew 7:7, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” The Bible even urges us to pray so that we would see God working in our lives- “Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” Heb 4:16 (NIV)
Here at Bethany, we are committed to being a praying church. If you have a prayer need, please share it with us so that we can take your need to the God who hears and answers! Contact Us with your prayer request.
Weekly Prayer Gatherings
Prayer gatherings take place everyday in our Growth Groups, which gather in homes throughout the week and on Sunday mornings at Bethany. There is also a Global Missions prayer gathering hosted by Jim and Louise Morris at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday mornings at their home. Contact the church office for details on any of these weekly prayer gatherings.
